Coach Ogundele Olusesan of Ilaji FC has revealed the game plan which earned his team a deserved three points over a hard fighting Olansile FC on MatchDay 2 of the ongoing Evolution Cup.

The Ibadan based side, who played out a 2-2 draw against Olukismet FC in their first game recorded their first victory of the tournament when they defeated Olansile FC by 2 goals to 1.
" It was a very good game. The game could have been won by either side. I believe we really work hard for this three points. We had a very tough opposition that gave us a good fight and we worked well to get the three points" said Olusesan in a post match chat.

Speaking on his team appraoch to the game, he noted that "We curtailed their attack, cut their threats and made sure we take advantage of their weaknesses".

" We are going to approach our next game with all sincerity. I believe it's going to be a tough fight and the fact that SGFC drew their first game will see them coming out massivey to attack us, so we will be prepared for them".

He commended the idea of Evolution Cup, an NLO invitational pre-season tournament which seeks to help team have the best of preparation ahead of the new season.

" It's a very good idea. They gave us a platform to check our players; whether we are ready  for the league or not- and you can see we have learnt a lot of things through this pre-season tournament and I want to urge them to make it a yearly event".

" The coaches are working alot to make sure that we have a strong attacking team in Nigeria. All the teams are working on attack and they a very good attack all round.
I have been watching the games since yesterday and I have seen very good attackers who can don Nigeria jersey anytime. Fantastic players" said the gaffer on the quality of the games.
