A 10-goal thriller encounter, Beyond Limits were again on Tuesday the better side as they defeated Magic Stars 6-4 in the first game of MatchDay 2 encounter at the ongoing Evolution Cup at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
The game had earlier taken an even shape when Igwillo Chimobi sent Beyond Limits to the lead in the 7th minutes from the spot and Sylvanus Michael leveled for Magic Stars 11 minutes later.
Not to soon, Beyond Limits changed the tempo of the game with a goal rush, scoring four more goals which saw the first half ending 5-1 in their favour.
Meanwhile, Magic Stars failed to reduce their load of task when they failed to convert a spot kick a few minutes into the same half.
However, It was a shared-possession in the second half when Magic Stars, albiet with some clear cut chances missed effected their presence on the scoresheet with three goals.
It was an ambitious reaction from the team who had missed some of their aces due to the car crash they experienced enroute the tournament few days ago.
Igwillo Chimobi had also headlined the encounter with his brace- constituting a lot of threat to the backline of Magic Stars.

In the second game, Abraysports recorded their second defeat of the championship with their 3-2 loss against Right2Win FC.
Nomso Nwafor's goal in the 71st minutes ensured Right2Win FC clinch another three maximum points which now placed them side by side with Beyond Limits- with goals difference only making the separation thread in favour of the latter in Group B.
It was another keenly contested game when SGFC Athletics and Hammola FC played out a 1-1 draw in the third encounter of the day. The goals, which all came in the second half were scored from the spot.
Ilaji FC, having played out a 2-2 draw against Olukismet on MatchDay one recorded their first victory of the tourney with a 2-1 win over Olansile FC.
It was an hard fought victory for the Ibadan based side who had a tough time curtailing the cutting edge of the Osogbo based team.
