The community league, a.k.a. "Soka Season 2" will end with the champions bagging a $980 grant and the runner-up, - $200 grant. Both teams will present management delegates to attend the prestigious Academy to study in 2019/2020.

"Orange Academy appreciates just how important football can be to communities. It has the power to steer youths up a better path, and so lift them and their families out of despair and poverty.

"We are very happy to support the Soka." - A top official stated, at the 10th Annual Immersion of the Academy which held at Sheraton Hotels and Suites mid September.

Soka is encouraging proper sports business and brand management in the grassroots community football space that has seen massive proliferation in the past 9 years.

In Lagos, Football teams are now springing up from every corner. This is testament to the deep love for football in communities. These teams have children in their formative years (aged 8 -20 years), and need to be properly managed because they are actively involved in mentoring and shaping the future of these youths.

"By empowering coaches and management officials with adequate know-how in budgeting and financial planning, social media management, branding and marketing, and up-to-date physio and medical trainings, we are sure of a brighter football future from the grassroots up." - Seun David the Community Coaching / Project Officer said.

Soka has reached out to TrwthRadio, Ignite Africa Foundation, theNextGen, Trauma Care International Foundation, TeaPot and Orange Academy, all of which have volunteered to help her achieve her goals.
