Bursa defender, Sarafadeen Olalekan Oyeleke has be saddled with the responsibility to lead the Nigeria Amputee Football team called "Special Eagles" to the nations cup in Angola believes the team can win succeed when the competition kick-start.

The Kwara state indigene was chosen as the captain of the team ahead of the tournament due to his leadership qualities, good behaviour and wealth of experience - as the only foreign-based player in the squad.

However, the fullback is conversant with this responsibility as he was the captain of his class throughout his secondary school days at the Oyun Baptist High School Ijagbo, Kwara stat from 2001-2007, also displaying his good behaviour by winning the award of the best-behaved student in his final year in the school.

He continued to display the quality of a true leader even in his days at the Federal Polytechnic OFFA, where he was appointed as the class representative during his OND level and assistant class representative in his HND level.

Sarafadeen who was also the coach of his NYSC Amputee Football team while serving in the Kwara State Sports council believes Nigerians should expect the team to triumph in Angola because of the commitment of everyone in camp.

"Nigerians should be expecting the trophy. Because the level of commitment and training  in the camp is high, the coaches, technical crew and the management are doing everything possible for a positive result."

The newly elected captain believes the best players in the country have been chosen for the championship and hope the team's participation at the last Amputee Football World Cup will enhance their opportunity to return home with the trophy.

"Well we have one of the best selected players here in Nigeria playing amputee football with lots of experience but you know we can't compare the modern amputee football and how it's been played in overseas.

Our participation at international championships will also give us more opportunity and also exposure to modern amputee football.
