The Ekiti State Football Association has confirmed that the 1st Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi will be at the maiden edition of the EKSFA Merit Awards this Sunday October 31st.
In a chat with the media department of the EKSFA, Chairman of the Ekiti State Football Association, Mr. Bayo Olanlege revealed that former Super Eagles midfielder Mutiu Adepoju and Proprietor of FC Ebedei, Barrister Churchil Oliseh will also be in Ekiti on Sunday.
Olanlege further disclosed that Kwara State FA Chairman, Mallam Idris Musa Abdullahi, Osun State FA Chairman, Otunba Razak Ishola Mustapha and Oyo State FA Chairman, Oba James Odeniran will all grace the awards ceremony.

President of Mees Palace Academy, Jos, Mr. Emmanuel Adukwu, Barr. Remi Adetula who is the Vice Chairman, Ondo State FA and a board member Dr. Tunde Akinbinu are all billed to be in Ekiti.
The organizers of the Merit Awards which starts 3pm on Sunday at the Bishop Abiodun Adetiloye Hall, Trade Fair Complex, Ado Ekiti stated that dress code is corporate wears only.
The Ekiti State Football Association Merit Awards has over 50 nominees in 14 award categories and 10 award of excellence recipients which includes the state governor, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi and his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, would be hosted by the grand patron of the football association, Mr. O’Seun Odewale popularly known as Egghead.
