The Lagos-based squad completed a three-week preparation program, as well as a player screening exercise, at the Prayer City Playing Ground earlier today, as they finalized their plans for the two Grade A preseason competitions, the Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre-season and the Ogunjobi Gold Cup Tourney.
MFM FC will leave Lagos tomorrow for the Dapo Abiodun preseason, which will take place from the 12th to the 18th of October 2021 at the Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu Ode.
From the 21st to the 31st of this month, the tiny NPFL club will compete in the 9th edition of the Ogunjobi Gold Cup, which will be held at two distinct venues: Remo Stars Stadium and FC Ebedei Stadium.

MFM FC Director of Football, Barr. Davidson Adejuwon, spoke about the importance of preseasons, saying, "Yes, we will be playing in two different preseason tournaments as we continue our preparation for the new season."
"This is part of our plan to prepare our teams for the usual challenges of the NPFL, and we believe that by the time the season starts, this will definitely rub off on our performances," he said.
