The Lagos Islanders kicked off their Premier League season with a win over CAMAC of Lagos in the Atlantic Conference. Ayodele Oluwaseyi, the team's former captain, led his team to a well-deserved 59-52 victory.  The game, which was competitive for the whole of the game, was won by a more experienced Islanders team that included Hillary Aighokhoade, Ibrahim Okpe, and other seasoned players. Enugu's Coal City fell to the Ondo Raiders by a score of 68-69. The Raiders were remarkable, but the home support from the fans, who came out in droves to cheer their team on to victory, was also crucial. When the Invaders of Ekiti met the Raptors in Akure on Wednesday, they avenged their season-ending 1 point loss to the Raptors.

On the afternoon, Coach Ojo Olusegun's side defeated Police Baton by a score of 64-59 points, while the final match of the day saw Kwara Falcons defeat Police Baton by a score of 55-47 points.
