Assistant Coach of Heartland FC of Owerri, Isaac Mbaegbu has assured Akwa United that they will become the second big team after Enyimba to leave the Dan Anyiam Stadium without a point.

The former captain of Iwayanwu Nationale (now Heartland) gave this verdict while reacting to pre-match comments made by Coach Kennedy Boboye ahead Sunday's game.

Recall after Akwa United had dropped points at home against Wikki Tourists, Boboye, did charged his players to prove their worth and ensure they secure maximum points against the Naze Millionaires on Sunday to help improve their standing on the NPFL log.

The assistant to Fidelis Ilechukwu said: "This is just mind talk and for me it's good for the game. We know their antics and I want to assure Akwa United that they will leave Owerri disappointed without a point.

" We at Heartland usually take such talks less serious as they are meant to create unnecessary tensions. We have grown thick skin to such as we know how to play such teams and as for the Promise Keepers, they can't push us to the limits.

" All said, the Naze Millionaires on it's part we will be 100 percent ready for the game as it's a match we want to take all three points.

" Just like the game against the Aba Elephants, it won't come easy but Heartland has all what it takes to beat Akwa United on Sunday."

After losing it's first home game to Nasarawa United, Heartland got back to winning ways as they recorded their first victory of the season after they beat Oriental Derby rivals Enyimba 2-0 on Match Day 4.
