As a young boy growing up in Lagos Island, he always dreamed of becoming a pilot, flying big planes.
The highly experienced football administrator grew up in Lagos Island and recalled how he was so determined to learn how to fly aircrafts citing the frequent passage of aircraft at their residence as an inspiration.
" I’m from a family of six, my dad hail from Abeokuta, while my mum was from Lagos State and I grew up in Lagos Island,” he told FUBF.
" I wanted to be a pilot when I finished secondary school, I was so determined that my grandma thought I was too obsessed with it.

" My grandma (Iya alaro) discouraged me from pursuing my career as a pilot because she thought it was too risky and probably didn’t want to lose me, after losing her daughter (My mum) at a tender age.
" After the disappointed, I joined Stationary Stores and worked as a scout. I helped to convince players like Peter Rufai, Joe Appiah and a host of other great players to play for the club back then. I learnt a lot from the job and soon started getting offers from other clubs because of my hardwork and dedication to work,” he concluded.
