In a statement made available by the Chairman, Office of the Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Prince Olayioye Ajide, the sports philanthropist congratuled the Muslims and urged them to uphold lessons and teachings of Ramadan.
According to Chief Ejidike, "The festival is the celebration of thanking Allah for all what he has done for us, charity also called zakat is offered to others on this festival and beyond which gives the opportunity to share the joys with others.
"There’s no greater blessing than that of Allah. There’s no greater happiness than that of attaining bliss. Before we ask for happiness and prosperity, we should ask for mercy. May Allah shower his mercy on us." Ejidike admonished.

Ejidike who lamented the pandemic which took the world by surprise but sounded that Allah will heal the world. He urged Nigerians to hold unto God in this period and that only god can cleanse the land.
