The former Africa footballer of the year who is presently on the payroll of El- Makassa of Egypt has decided to extend his hand of friendship through financial gestures to journalists in Nigeria.

Amuneke joined many Nigerian philanthropists at this critical time when Nigerians are observing sit-at-home which affected individual and the country’s economy.

Journalists have really done so much at this critical time that Corona virus has affected the human race. The pen profession are exposed while carrying out their jobs.

" They need the support of well meaning Nigerians in order to disseminate accurate information to the general public. I have always seen journalists as partners in progress right from my playing days.”

The former U-17 gaffer who has won the trophy as a chief coach as well as head coach concluded by saying, " I pray for the safety of Nigerians as a whole. Sooner or later, the pandemic will be a thing of the past soonest”.
