Ekiti FA Board Set Up New Committee And Extends FA Cup Registration Date

Ekiti football association on 10th March, 2020, held its board meeting and deliberated extensively on its programmes, while also reviewing some of its activities.

The board meeting which was presided over by Chairman of EKSFA, Adebayo Olanlege and six other members and an observer was held at the board room of Oluyemi Kayode stadium, Ado-Ekiti.

Members who attended the board meeting included Otunba Ariyo A.Y.O, Daramola S.O, Aregbesola S.O, Afolabi Gboyega, Fatukasi J.I, Hon. Ebenezer Oladipo, Ibidun Isaac B and FA secretary, Idowu B.S.

The communique of the meeting signed by EKSFA secretary, B.S Idowu, appreciated His Excellency Governor John Kayode Fayemi for his supports and encouragement for sports in the state.

According to the communique, the board also approved a 3- man Supervisory committee for Ekiti FA cadet teams including the Ekiti State National Sports Festival team, Ekiti Bees(U16) and Ekiti Baby Bees (U13). The committee members are Aregbesola S.O, Afolabi Gboyega and Daramola S.O.

It also unanimously agreed to hold the EKSFA Annual General Assembly on the eve of the Ekiti State FA Cup 2020 tentatively planned to hold on 26th April, 2020.

The communique also disclosed that the closing date for registration for the Ekiti State FA 2020, has been extended and will now close on Friday, 20th, March, 2020, in order to give opportunities to more teams to register and participate in the competition.
