Favourites, Niger Tornadoes recorded the biggest scoreline in the Ogunjobi Gold Cup Tourney as stormed four goals past MFM FC of Lagos on Monday.

It was a poor first half for the Olukoya Boys as it took 31 minutes for Tornadoes to do the damage on Coach Tony Bolus team. 

The NPFL side shipped in the first goal barley two minutes of play as defender Agwu Emmanuel was penalized by the ref after he handled the ball in the box.

Wakili Abdulahi made no mistake from the spot kick as he sent goalkeeper Olatunji Odekunle the wrong way for his team's first goal.

Tornadoes showed the desire to win the match as they made it 2-0 six minutes later profiting from a awful  defending from MFM FC.

The Olukoya Boys failed to clear the ball after goalkeeper Odekunle had parried Hashim low drive shot, leaving Sam Victor to easily tap into the net.

In the 24th minute Goalkeeper Odekunle made things tough for his team after his howler with his defender saw Hamza Liman scoring to make it 3-0 for the Ikoh Allah Boys.

The rout was completed a minute after the half hour mark after the centre referee Kingsley Udeh awarded a second penalty to Tornadoes after MFM substitute goalkeeper, Luca Mazado was adjudged to have brought down a goal bound Shamsudeen in the box. 

Kabir Umar calmly slot his low shoot past Mazado to make it 4-0.

The Olukoya Boys could have got a goal in the 73rd minute as midfielder Akanni Elijah turned away from his marker to shoot a low drive only for goalkeeper Jimoh Lucky in goal for Tornadoes to deny him of a superb goal.
