Blessing Okagbare track and field queen maintained her good form in the Diamond League as she recorded another win on Sunday.
Okagbare finished first in Rabat last week as she beat the favourite’s duo of Elaine Thompson and Dina Asher Smith in a keenly contested 200 meters race.

Okagbare ran a 22.05 her personal best to emerge top in her 10th attempt in the Meet, and for her effort, Okagbare received a cheque of $10,000 and eight maximum points as she moved from eighth position in the Diamond League standings to joint third with Thompson on 14 points behind Asher-Smith on 22 points and Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands has 17 points albeit she finished sixth in the race.
Next challenge for Blessing Okagbare is the Diamond League meeting this Friday in Lausanne, Switzerland.
