Goal Bound Sunday Faleye against Rwanda in Morocco
Super Eagles teenage sensation, Sunday Faleye has expressed his gratitude to God and all those who made it possible for him to be a part of the history making CHAN Super Eagles.

Faleye, who has been an integral part of the team before he got injured in the quarter final clash against Angola, in a chat from Morocco,  also remarked that playing for the national team has been a dream come true for him.

" Playing for the Super Eagles has been a dream come true. And I want to thank the coaches for believing in my talent, " said Faleye.

" Let me also express my immense gratitude to my parents and particularly, Prince Efemena Elutabe, the president of Freestan football club,  for his fatherly role and contributions to my blossoming career, " he added.

Speaking further, the highly- rated former 3SC player, who is one of the championship revelations and also much sought by top European clubsides,  rued his inability to continue to be a part of the championship,  also went ahead to tip the Super Eagles for the CHAN title.

" It is regrettable that I can't continue to be a part of the team due to injury. Injuries are part of the game. However, it would only make me come back stronger, " the product of Lagos based Freestan football club lamented.

And he continued; " I believe with determination, discipline, unity and focus, we shall win the cup. The coaches have instilled all these in the team. And these are the foundation and core values that would ensure we succeed, " the Ajegunle born player enthused.
