Nigeria football supporters club in partnership with Telecoms Youth Games Limited have concluded plans to sponsor 20 passionate football fans to Russia.

Speaking at the press briefing held in Lagos, national chairman of the Nigerian football supporters club, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, promised that the lucky fans would enjoy a swell time with members of the supporters club during the world cup in Russia.

" I want to assure that the 20 lucky winners would go with us to Russia. We will jet out in the same aircraft, lodge in the same hotel and of course, storm the stadiums together to cheer our team to victory," Ikpea stated.

The President General of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club "Rafiu Ladipo also speaks extensively about the good initiative and commend the efforts of Telecoms Youth games" and assured that they have approached the right group that would accord the right support to ensure the tickets go Nationwide because it is not the first time Supporter's Club would embark on such project" it also happen in Brazil 2014, he concluded by saying there would be optimum transperency with the Raffle draws on April 29.

Mr. Tuoyo Ayonmi - Representative Telecoms Youth Games Ltd
On his part, the representative of Telecom Youth Games, Mr. Tuoyo Ayonmi, said the plan is to expose Nigerian youth, as well as, reward and encourage their passion for the game, and it is also our Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) giving back to to the people as a corporate organization. 

" Nigerian youths are passionate about football. And therefore, it is our desire to expose them to global football.
" Going to the world cup will give them the opportunity to learn more about the world. Let me also assure that there would be transparency during the raffle draw which will come up on April 29," he added.


The fans are expected to purchase a ticket for N200 after which the lucky 20 fans would be selected through a raffle draw slated to hold in Lagos on April 29. The lucky fans would go on a all-expense paid trip which include feeding, accommodation and transportation during the global soccer fiesta.
