Kano Pillars Football Club Technical Adviser,Coach Ibrahim A. Musa said his team would remain focus on the task ahead of them.
Coach Ibrahim stated this while answering questions from journalists at Sani Abacha stadium kofar Mata, kano after a 2-1 victory against Abia warriors FC in an entertainment encounter in Match Day 4 n the on going 2017/2018 Npfl season.
Ibrahim said Abia Warriors is a good team but his boys utilized their opportunity and collect their maximum points. "Now our target on any match is to get the maximum points in order to consolidate our efforts," Coach Ibrahim said.
He commended his players and expressed confidence that they will do it again in Maiduguri, Borno state capital, when they visit Elkanemi warriors FC on Sunday.
On his part, the Sai Masu Gida defence commander who captain the side, Chinedu Udoji, said their target this season is to ensure that the team return to top level of the league.
Journalists, who covered the match voted the club the leading scorer Lokosa junior as man of the match with 13 votes, Chinedu Udoji 9 votes and Ojebisi Adewale got one vote.

Presenting the award to Lokosa Junior, courtesy of Swan Kano state chapter, former sports Director Bayero University, kano, who is also a board member of kano Pillars FC, Professor Musa Garba Yakasai, congratulated him and described the award as well deserved considering his consistency in scoring goals in all the four matches he played and urged him to sustain the tempo.
Responding,Lokosa reaffirmed his determination to do his best to ensure that the club achieved its target objective.
Lokosa described the award as a collective award to the players, technical crew, management and entire fans of the club which he said without their support, he can not make it alone.
Nwagua Nyima put Kano Pillars FC ahead in 28 minute of play with header off Alassan Ibrahim cross and Effiong Ndiefrieke the equilizer for the visitors while Junior Lokosa saved sai masu Gida from a home draw with his 60th minute strike from a pass by Ojebisi Adewale.
According to Media Officer of the club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa, the club is expected to travel to Maiduguri, Borno state on Saturday for its Match Day 5 cracker against Elkanemi Warriors FC on Sunday.
