Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC extended its unbeaten home run to 25 after a 2-1 triumph over FC Ifeanyiubah in Matchday 4 of the 2018 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) played on Wednesday at the Soccer Temple, Agege Stadium.

The big match began on a remarkable note for the Olukoya Boys as they dominated the first 10 minutes of the exchange with great football artistry.

In a bid to curtail the rampaging MFM FC players, Ekene Awazie was booked with a yellow card after a foul on Olatunbosun Sikiru and that gave the hosts the first free kick of the game after 5 minutes of play but Okorom Stanley's effort from the free kick spot went inches wide.

One of the newly recruited players, Akila Jesse who was a delight to watch in that encounter announced himself on 15 minutes when he netted the first goal of the match after receiving a pass from Tchato Giscard.

Five minutes after his first NPFL goal for MFM FC, Akila located Olatunbosun with a pass after a fine counterattacking move but the winger couldn't hit the target.

The visitors put themselves together and put together few passes as they mounted pressure on MFM FC. Seka Pascal received a pass from Ekene Awazie in the 30th minute and scored the equaliser for his team.

MFM FC regained the lead in the 42nd minute through Olatunbosun's effort after sloppy defending by the Anambra Warriors. The first 45 minutes ended and the Lagos-based team maintained a 2-1 lead.

The second 45 minutes resumed with MFM FC searching for another goal to seal up the game. FCIU on the hand pushed forward hoping to get an equalizer but their attempts yielded no goal.

MFM FC made the first substitution of the game in the 52nd minute. Onuwa Chukwuka was introduced for Akuneto Chijioke. The petite midfielder made a lot of impact in the game controlling the midfield with excellent display.
