Combination of Osumanu Otto and Shiekh Bangura in the midfield was great and productive. Osumanu was everywhere winning balls and stopping all attacks of the Atoms to cause upset. The Eagles also defended well as they are studded with the squad marshalling of the Skipper Obinna Iloka..

The Coach introduced Haitian National team U20 player Davidson Celidor to make his debut this season and he made himself the super sub by scoring the wining goal in the 83rd minutes of the game and gave the Eagles all 3 points in the first game of ASL fall season.
