"The meeting we had with the NOC and the Ministry was instructive and timely which further strengthened our position on the constitution of the NBBF." Engr Musa Kida stated.

Kida pointed out that all modern culture evolves, with necessary modifications made where and when they are required, and basketball is no exception.

"The same can be said for Nigerian basketball's constitution and day-to-day operations. However, in order to make those adjustments, the procedure must be followed."

He warned that no one or group of individuals will be able to hold basketball hostage, and he urged all stakeholders to work together to help the game thrive.

"Basketball is bigger than any one person, beginning with myself, and I implore everyone to band together and make basketball work for us and our beloved Nigeria."
