Jigawa Golden Stars striker Samuel Stone, has attributed his scoring form with the "Badaru Boys" to hard work and determination.

Stone who is on loan at Jigawa Golden Stars from Kano Pillars in a chat with the media, he said making that move from Kano to Jigawa, has turned out to be a blessing in disguise.


" I needed to move away from Kano, because i needed to play regularly,  i wasn't having playing time at Kano Pillars, and was sent on loan to Jigawa Golden Stars, and it has turned our to be a blessing for me, I've scored 9 goals so far in the league for Jigawa Golden Stars, and am hoping to score more before the end of the season".

The Anambra State born striker also assured that he will love to take his career to the next level, while also explaining what makes him a "fox in the box".

" My career is of importance to me and i would love to move on to greater things, am praying the opportunity presents itself for me too".


" I think my strength is more because of my physic, and my abilities to take advantage of the weak defenders, you have to ensure your at the right place when the ball gets to you inside the 18 yard box, also knowing how to convert at goal".
