In furtherance of youth and sports' development in Ekiti State, the 16 Local Football Councils affiliated with the Ekiti State Football Association have been advised to begin the scouting and screening of U15 players within their jurisdiction ahead of their participation in the Prof. Akin Oyebode U-15 Football Competition for boys and girls.
In a statement released by the Organizing Committee, the Local Football Councils are expected to conduct a thorough screening exercise to discover outstanding youngsters that will represent them in the competition.

The Committee also revealed that registeration for the competition has started and the closing date and the Draws for the participating teams would be 15th April, 2021. Hence, the Local Football Councils are urged to commence preparations in earnest.
The team managers and others who would be part of this exercise are further warned that all activities must be conducted strictly in adherence to all COVID-19 protocols.
