The General Manager of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, Rasheed Balogun, said prayer and determination will be the team's watchword for the year 2021.

He therefore, charged the players and officials of the team to be prayerful and be more determined, as the team looks forward to a successful promotion campaign from the NNL to the NPFL this year.

The former Julius Berger and Sunshine Stars of Akure Team Manager, made this charge last Friday, while addressing the players and their officials during the get-together, organised to mark his birthday celebrations

Balogun explained that all their efforts on the pitch must be backed with prayers and the determination to get the promotion ticket this season after missing it by the whiskers in previous years.

" Our watchword this year should be prayer and determination which I believe, is all we need based on what we have on ground, going into the season.

" At some point, when I am worried, I will look at the materials (players) we are parading and then I will tell myself, I don't need to worry, these boys are capable of doing the job".
