The Nigeria National League, NNL in a letter forwarded to clubs has advised them to prepare for the resumption as they look to get the 2020-2021 season back underway.


According to a Communique signed by Chief Operating Officer, states; This is to humbly inform you that the Federal Government in keeping with the gradual opening of the lockdown has directed that football activities should commence and strict compliance to the COVID-19 protocols.

" In view of the foregoing, the NNL Management wishes to advise all clubs that preparations and modalities for the commencement of the new season should begin immediately at club level.

This should however include full implementation of COVID-19 rules and regulations,” The letter read.

" Please note that the NNL will as a matter of concern monitor your level of compliance and implementation of COVID-19 protocols on a weekly basis.


The letter which was signed by NNL Chief Operating Officer, Emmanuel Adesanya on Monday clearly stated that it will abide by the NFF time table for the resumption of the 2020-2021 season.
