Georgia Oboh, Nigeria’s youngest female professional golfer joined others last week Thursday on the course as golf returns for the Ladies Scottish Open.
The Nigerian golf sensation has been on the news in recent times based on her outstanding records since turning a professional in 2018 and Fresh from her Ladies Scottish Open debut Georgia shot a 73 one over par on a wet rainy day in a one day mini tour event at the Willow Valley Golf club on the 2020 pro tour
The 2020 pro tour is designed basically for both males and females budding professionals based in North England and meeting some tough oppositions which include Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking No1, Jin Young Ko; No 2, Danielle Kang and No 8, Min Jee Lee and 2019 champion, Mi Jung Hur.
Oboh however, is looking beyond the Ladies European Tour as she wants to be world best." She has been working very hard and ready to play amongst so many of the world’s best players, which will give her invaluable experience as she works towards achieving her dream of being the first Nigerian to win on the professional golf circuit."

This is Georgia Oboh's third event on the tour and previous scores of 77 at the event in Worsley park, Worsley Manchester on the last week of July and 76 at the event in at Moor Allerton in Leeds
Today’s score of 73 saw Georgia in a top 20 finish in a tie for 18th position.
Georgias comments are " I can see improvements in my game especially my drive and my greens in regulation has greatly improved. I struggled a little bit with my putting even though my stats are looking okay , I know it could have been better .
" This is no doubt a confidence boost for me just before my next event at the Czech Ladies Open next week “

Georgia will join a world class Ladies European Tour field next week as they battle it out at the Czech Ladies Open in Beroun Golf club near Prague in the Czech Republic
