Stephen Odey, "Team Kashamadupe" burst onto the scene at a very young age of 18 years and was the arrowhead of the Olukoya Boys attack in the season that saw the Lagos State based team challenged for the title and qualified for the CAF Champions League.
While playing for MFM Football Club, Odey remains the all-time top scorer in the NPFL with 23 goals in 42 matches and has also represented Nigeria Super Eagles, he featured against a Corsica XI in Ajaccio and also at the U23 level.
The striker, who joined Belgian Jupiler League side Genk on a Five year deal, from FC Zurich and is expected to boost Genk's attacking force with his pace and goalscoring abilities.
Since Joining the Belgian League side, he has no regular playing time to really showcase his full potentials, speaking with www.sportflames.com he revealed that surely his time has come to shine and prove to all, the reason he accepted Genk offer.
" It's really been a serious fight and continuous training for me since joining Genk, right now they have seen a lot of positive changes in me, the coach, the management seems to believe more in me now and I think next season should be my season once I get enough minutes to contribute my own quota for the team,".
