Joel Isyaq 22 year old, Nigerian born, 6.2ft tall, hail from Kogi State in Nigeria has emerged All time semi - pro best Goal Keeper in United States of America after his sterling performance in NSFUSA tournament.

A vibrant Goalkeeper with sharp reflexes,  also with an exceeding credentials that comes with outstanding performance in UPSL games last season, had also represented as top winner of various tournaments in north east America.

Joel had toppled 3 times award as best Goalkeeper in Nigeria youth Tournament,  was voted the best Goalkeeper and bagged the MVP award for very first time for a Goalkeeper to win the award in the history of NSFUSA Tournament with no concession of a goal.

The African Soccer Convention in Collaboration with Sierra Leone Sports in Columbus, Ohio Tournament this year had same Goalkeeper as a finalist for the best Goalkeeper Award.

Joel Isyaq has disclosed to our correspondent in US that he is looking forward to a call up for National team duty to prove what he has for his country if offered opportunity.

Joel was proud and content after winning the first title of his career according to his statement. "It means everything to me, my family and the club SGFC Eagles.”

Isyaq added: “I’m delighted to be able to achieve something special with the help of the Head Coach Richard Opanuga (Baba Zico), he has really been a force at my back to thrive, keep pushing me never to give up my dream as a goalkeeper and I clamoured a stance as part of this squad for 3 times in a row being at 3rd Place in Miami, Boston and Houston.”

“Stores Intern Fc gave us a good game during the Finals, but my team played well as we had a clean sheet of winning all the Seven matches played in the tournaments and sincerely i must tell you, " I'm really looking forward to a call up to the National team so i could contribute my own quota to helping the team, he concluded.

Furthermore, The General Manager - Mr. Chukwudum Chukwudebelu of SGFC Eagles Maryland  said " I think we deserved the win, based on the talents sourced, Joel Isyaq was fantastic in goal as he made crucial saves to keep the team going, I must also commend the efforts of the technical crew for the formidable strategies and technical - know - how displayed throughout the encounter was brilliant and perfect,

"Thumbs up to other Coaches, Rotimi Omope, Abayomi Babatunde, Oluseyi Fadare and Henry Obu Ubanwa they really contributed to that sweet victory, " he concluded.
