Super Eagles of Nigeria will trade tackles with one of their familiar foes Indomitable of Cameroon in the round of 16 at the ongoing African Cup of nations on Saturday in Alexandria.
The Super Eagles lost 2-0 to Madagascar in their final Group B match to finish second while the Indomitable Lions also placed second in Group F.
According to the AFCON 2019 fixture since the introduction of 24 teams that allowed Round of 16, Nigeria who came second in group B are to face group F runners-up which happened to be Cameroon.
Nigeria beat Cameroon 2-1 in 2013 at the quarter finals stage of the AFCON in South Africa, which Nigeria eventually won the Trophy.

The Nigeria - Cameroon rivalry is one of the most fiendish on the continent and Saturday’s clash is expected to be full of thrills.
Ghana and Cameroon have 5 points each, the Black Stars however, scored 4 goals, conceded 2 while Indomitable Lion scored two goals in three games and conceded no goals.
Super Eagles against Indomitable Lions will be on Saturday and scheduled for 6:00 pm Nigerian time.
Eagles are chasing a fourth Nations Cup trophy after winning the 1980, 1994 and 2013 while Cameroon are defending champions of the competition.
