A total of 12 teams have registered for this year's Aiteo cup in Ekiti state.
According to the acting chairman of Ekiti State Football Association, Otunba Amos Ariyo, the number of registered teams is a remarkable improvement from the past when only few teams participated in the competition.
" We have registered 12 teams for this year's Aiteo cup and though the number is not much, it is a remarkable improvement from the past when only few teams took part in the competition," he remarked.
" And from indications and enthusiasm showed by the registered teams, we hope to have a very exciting and keenly contested competition," he enthused.

The teams who are expected to participate in the competition include, Ekiti United Fac, JKF FC, Phoenix ASC, Creamers FC, Fashmog FC, Perfect Touch FC, Ikere United FC and Ten Fingers FC. Others are Choice FC, Golden FC, Petemmal International FA and Moyero FC.
Meanwhile, tomorrow, the board of EKSFA are expected to sign a partnership agreement with Bet9ja, who are the sponsors of the Ekiti Football League
