Chairman of the Nigeria football federation (NFF) technical and development committee Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh has described the performance of the Super Eagles (Super Excellent) in the double header games against Libya national team.
Three-time AFCON Champions (Super Eagles) went into crucial fixtures with Libya to get the ticket for Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon come (2019). The Nigerian side bashed the Mediterranean Knights of Libya in Uyo (4-0) and unseated the Cameo group Toppers, South Africa after the 3-2 victory in the reverse fixture at Sfax on Tuesday night, as Odion Igahlo's Recent run of form in Super eagles excites Niger State FA Boss.
"The quick fixtures brought the brand new Super Eagles who were extremely determined to erase non participation of two different Nations cup. They showed relentless efforts to join other African teams in the coming Nations Cup at Cameroon" he said.

" The Technical and development committee are extremely satisfied with the double header results, starting from 4-0 demolition of Mediterranean knights of Libya at Uyo and hard fought 3-2 victory against the latter. We believe these have changed the nomenclature of permutations for 2019 AFCON as Super Eagles have now ascended the Group's leadership throne before taking on Bafana Bafana of South Africa next month," Fresh explained.

" I'm ecstatic seeing the former Watford Striker (Odion Igahlo) in this devastating run off scoring five goals in the double legged fixtures against Mediterranean knights of Libya.

The results against the Mediterranean knights of Libya have placed the Eagles of Nigeria ahead other members of the group with nine points as South Africa garnered eight, Libya with four points remained unchanged and Seychelles in abyss with one point.
