SGFC Eagles Athletics Sports Club a Professional soccer team in Maryland joins United Premier Soccer League and will compete in the UPSL 2018 season, This will be the club’s first season in
this highly innovative and fast growing league;
'The Eagles representing Northeast Conference of the American Division, they got the ball rolling with a fierce looking game against Upper Derby Football Club of New Jersey which ended 5 - 3 in favour of the Eagles.
"Upper Derby FC were seriously dictating possession and more business minded with statistics of 65:35 ratio for the first 15 mins of the game and they benefited from defensive error and took the lead.
"Towards the second quarter, SGFC Eagles took over possession after adjusting to a 4 - 5 - 1 formation that allow free flow kind of football in the midfield and more attacking conscious and the equalizer came through the boot of 19 year old striker Davidson Celudor in the 22nd minutes of the game.
"After the goal 'Davidson Celudor' kept tormenting the defence line of Upper Derby FC with amazing run from both flanks, He controls the attack which allows the Eagles to penetrate and create more scoring chances.

Immediately after the match 'Speaking with SGFC Eagles Head Coach, Paul Ocampo, "The match was a great way to open our UPSL account and sent notice to the league that the Eagles had arrived, just exactly what we did last season in ASL with a win against Lancaster Lions 2 - 1 in the league opener.
"We still have a lot of work to do with our defence line because we conceded some cheap goals which made us to fight hard to come back into the game and "i must commend my boys for this great performance and serious determination' Davidson is my best player tonight with his deadly run and excellent footwork but we are just starting because we have more important game away from home next weekend against Rochester Super 9, New York and we hope it will be 'three points' and all smiles after the game.

"We were down 1-0 from the jump, but didn’t let it snowball, We clawed back and answered shortly thereafter to take the lead for good. Upper Darby FC, New Jersey kept fighting their way out of deficits, but instead of getting rattled our Super Green responded with goals of their own to eventually put the game out of reach around the 70th minute.
He added "my team has the speed, agility, power and skills to compete for a UPSL Championship"... The league was put on notice tonight, that SGFC Eagles Maryland is here to win!

'SGFC Eagles Majority shareholder also grant www.sportflames.com and Global Sport TV few statement that it will be a firecracker next weekend in New York.
Our home fans were full of joy. We are bound to return on the road next week for 6 hours journey up North east of United States to combat Rochester Super 9, New York Based team in their hometown and we hope to bring back joy and victory to get the maximum three points and place a lead on Northeast conference standing in American division.
