Football is a game which is played and watched by millions globally. It has the ability to transcend race, language and culture; to create bonds among people and communities; to bind and unify differences; and displays the passion of human in its utmost purest form.
These outstanding qualities has evolved football into the number 1 human activity today and a tool for social responsibilities.
Many young players dream to participate in something meaningful, a social contribution, to try their strength against local/international resistance, to experience the very special atmosphere that is created where the whole world unites to say stop and kick out "Gender Based Violence".
This year's kick out " Gender Based Violence" #GBV with footballers organized by Women Advocates Research and Documentation Center (WARDC) will go beyond just a competition, with belief that movement against bad characters must also be characterized by activities, giving a good time and the feeling of being part of something very special.
WARDC is an organization geared towards protection of women's right and gender advocacy.

With action filled event, #GBV promises to be exciting, challenging and an everlasting memory, regardless of the score.
Football's Fair Play is the essence of all games; thus need to preach against "Gender Based Violence" to show respect and honesty in the campaign to stop #GBV in every community.
WARDC initiative for Kick out #GBV is an avenue to explore future possibilities through the game of football.
The kick out #GBV event will parade star footballers like Sule Rofiat of Rivers Angels; Nigeria Best Female player 2016/2017 season, Ashiegbu Chinenye from Samaria Ladies of Ghana, Adebayo Folashade (WAFA All Star) Akinsuyi Temitope (former Police Machine Safe Hand) and Suzzy Abbey ex-Tokas Queens midfield maestro among others.
This is just the beginning of a journey to violence free communities.
