Jude Odion Ighalo addressing Media in Lagos

Super Eagles striker Jude Odion Ighalo has unveiled his plans for the orphanage home which he built in Lagos at Kudeyindu Estate, Ijegun and the Launch date is 16th of December 2017. 

He revealed this during a press conference at Jonaith Hotels and Suite, Lekki - Ajah on Tuesday, November 21, 2017

At a press conference in Lagos, Ighalo spoke about his passion for giving back to the society and helping those who are really in need. As a child who grew up in the suburbs of Ajegunle, Ighalo has never hidden his commitment to give back to the less privileged and the society at large. For him, providing a platform and opportunity for others to thrive is the major motivating factor in his charity work.
“I will get more fulfilment with the lives of people I have touched more than anything I will achieve in my career,” 
One of these people might become successful more than me tomorrow and help my children.”

He was also posting pictures of the orphanage on his social media accounts.
Present at the conference were former Nigeria internationals Peter Rufai, Samson Siasia, Austin Eguavoen and also ex-Super Falcons goalkeeper Ann Chiejine.
Ighalo also open up that he would love the Super Eagles to play England at theWorld Cup in Russia after they secure the sole ticket in Group B unbeaten for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and they await the draws soonest.
Apart from his orphanage, the Changchun Yatai of China striker also got involved in the #1Girl1Pen girl child education campaign where he paid full scholarship for 5 school girls.
