Profemateur 7 Season II

After a successful hosting of the first edition of the Profemateur 7 in 2016, organisers of the event are set for this year's soccer game in Lagos state.

The Profemateur 7, or better still, Professional Amateur is a women's football competition put together by Royaltoms International Football Academy (RIFA), in conjunction with Soccer Queens and approved by the Nigeria Women Football League.

It is a platform aimed to showcase raw and upcoming female talents, integrate footballers from all works of life in the country and also promote Nigeria women's football.

And it is proudly supported by some of Nigeria's Super Falcons players who sees it as an avenue of giving back to the society as well as encouraging young players.

The first edition held at the Emmanuel Primary School field in Ojota was won by Oshoala Ladies who defeated Ordega Ladies 3-1 in the final match.

The event featured teams like Nwabuoku FC, Ayinde Ladies, Onosky Angels, Okobi Ladies, Oparanozie Ladies, Ann Chinyere Angels.

At this year's program, which promises to be bigger than the previous one; will see three national team players and an ex-international taking part of the 7-aside women's soccer game.

They include Kristiansand DFF of Sweden midfielder Rita Chikwelu, PSG's defender Ngozi Ebere, Sweden-based goalkeeper Christy Ohiaeriaku and Ayisat Yusuf.

Others are Ngozi Okobi, Onome Ebi, Desire Oparanozie, Halimatu Ayinde, Francisca Ordega and Ann Chinyere Atulobi.

The event will commence on the 22nd of October with the registration exercise of interested players and individuals.
