Taiwo Ogunjobi express delight
Following the successful organization of the second edition of Ogunjobi Golden Cup sponsored by former  Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, the astute football administrator has expressed his profound gratitude to the top guns of the country's football ruling body, stakeholders and pressmen who graced the memorable occasion.

Olorunda Local Government FC of Oshogbo beat Yaa Jamiu Isibo FC of Ede 2-0 and emerged winners of the thrilling epic final played on Saturday evening at the Oshogbo Township Stadium courtesy of two second half goals from Oladoye Idowu and Oyeniyi  Farouk.

 The Pillar of Sports in the State of Osun, expressed his profound appreciation to the Executive Committee Members of NFF, State FA chairmen and other stakeholders in the football circle. 

The elaborate grass-root championship had the who-is-who of the country's football family in attendance among who are Vice President Nigeria Football Federation, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, Chairman NFF Referees Appointment Committee and member CAF Technical Committee, Alhaji Ahmed Yusuf Fresh (Sardauna Kwallow), NFF Executive Committee member and Chairman Kano Football Association, Alhaji Rabiu Inuwa Ahlan, Chairman Nationwide League One, Chairman Nasarawa Football Association and NFF Executive member, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali, Chairman Borno Football Association and NFF Executive member, Babagana Kalli, and Chairman Adamawa Football Association and NFF Executive Member, Alhaji Musa Duhu.

A delighted Ogunjobi, who’s the Special Adviser to the State of Osun Governor on Football Matters told sports journalists that: "I’m delighted as I felt honoured to see these big astute football personalities grace the cup final. 

"Not just me, but players, coaches of the two clubs that played in the final and indeed the fans. It was never easy having the Executive Committee Members of the NFF with  State FA Chairmen attendance despite their very tight schedule.

"Congratulations to the winners and the other thirty-one (31) teams that took part in the tournament. Its an eye opener for the players as they have used this platform to showcase their talents."
