The management of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries FC is grateful to the executive Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, for his unflinching support towards the team which has contributed greatly to the club's success in the recent concluded Nigeria Professional Football League League (NPFL) season.
For the first time in football history in Nigeria, MFM FC beat the imagination of many claiming a CAF Champions League ticket after two years campaign in the Nigerian elite league. This would not have been a reality if not for the support given to the modest NPFL side by the Lagos State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Speaking to the club's official website mountaintopfc.com on Saturday, MFM FC Director of Football, Emmanuel Adeyemi, appreciated His Excellency Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, Lagos State FA and the team's avid fans for their unending support for the Lagos-based outfit.

"The just concluded Nigeria Professional Football League League season was a great season for us at MFM FC and for all our fans and supporters all over the world and we really thank God for this notable achievement.
"MFM FC beat the imagination of a lot of people with a second place finish and automatically booked a CAF Champions League ticket for the first time in over 13 years as a Lagos-based team.
He continued: "This achievement for me is a landmark and I want to use this golden moment to say a very big thank you to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode who has been there for us from the beginning of our journey in the Nigeria top league.
"Our appreciation as a team will be incomplete without appreciating the effort of the Lagos State FA led by Nigeria Football Federation vice president, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi and our teeming fans and supporters. Words alone can't express our sincere gratitude," Adeyemi concluded.
