After having a wonderful season with Shooting Stars last season scoring five goals in 4 games for the Oluyole Warriors under the tutelage of Kadiri Ikhana, Anambra Warriors came knocking and he moved immediately mid season with Tope Orelope to continue his career. he scored fantastic and crucial goals for the Anambra Warriors but this season he did not fit into the playing philosophy of the new coach and Wasiu Jimoh needs more playing time so he returned to Oluyole Warriors this season and got his maiden goal since his return against Katsina United on Match Day 29 at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba.
Speaking with Wasiu Jimoh after the game, he said i am very happy not because i scored the only goal but Shooting Stars got the needed three points as we battle relegation and none of the players will want his name to be among those that relegated Shooting stars as that will be incredible disaster and also being one of the oldest and most decorated team in the Nigeria Premier League.

I am so confident that i would score that free kick against Katsina, because i have taken several in league games and training, some will go wide and some will be saved by the goal keepers ad my my coach always encourage me to keep working hard on my set pieces that he believed in me so much and before the game also in the dressing room" he boosted my confidence that i should go on the field and do what i know how to do best enthused Wasiu......
Wasiu further said that coming back to shooting star its really good for him and that the game against Remo Stars mid - week will be a very crucial game, that they will put everything into the game, we are going their as hungry Lions because we need that three points is what we need to survive relegaton, we are fully prepared mentally and physically, though it is going to be a do or die affair because Remo players are young and energetic, they also have a very good coach that understand football formation.
He concluded by saying, i really appreciate the management of Shooting stars for granting me another opportunity to come and contribute my own quota to the team and for supplying our needs at appropriate time without any delay, they motivate us, encourage us and also pray for us, he also commend the League Management Company for making our league attractive though they still have so much work to do to match up with other leagues globally because he said his desire is to play for one the team in the Spanish league or English Premier League.
