SGFC Eagles Players
SGFC Eagles started American Soccer League on winning notes, as they went 4 games unbeaten in their opening fixtures and all the players, management and fans were all in jubilant form to celebrate the deserve record. before loosing disgracefully to fury on a wide margin that cause so much upset among players and management.

SGFC Eagles will hope to right the wrong, when they played probably their worst game in the American Soccer League this season on May 20, 2017 against League leaders Philadelphia Fury.  SGFC Eagles lost 5 - 1 that day but that result, more than anything else, flattered and gave the boys from Maryland as only a shocking result and disbelief.

SGFC Eagles side are high on confidence after putting up excellent performance recently putting their back - to - back victories, with a crucial 3 - 0 win against Mass United and 7 - 2 against New Hampshire Bobcats.
A win for the Eagles will see them close the gap on Fury who are currently on 24 points from 8 games and SGFC on 19 points from 8 games.

Alexander Adelabu of SGFC Eagles
They hope their hitman Alexander Adelabu will continue his fine form of goals, he has scored 8 goals now one behind Myles Englis of Philadelphia Fury who has 9 and has thrown the race for the ASL Golden boots open.
Richard Opanuga and Paul Ocampo

Head coach of SGFC Eagles, Richard Opanuga is full of respect for the opposition and does not expect any display of complacency from his team,  “I don’t think they (Philadelphia Fury) will be distracted as a result of their experience in the league.

“It is an advantage for us meeting this strong side and it will also motivate us. We respect them.” Opanuga concluded.
