The Annual Shomolu 6 - Aside U13 Football Competition produced its two finalist today to compete for the prestigious trophy on Friday 14th April, 2017 at the army sports camp field Morocco. This Community Initiative is been put together by Amawell Communications a sports consulting outfit in conjunction with Blue Spot Entertainment, speaking with the proprietor of Amawell Communications; Mr Wellington Amadasun he said the motive and idea of this competition is to discover and nurture young talents and playing for our national teams in future. The tournament is for under 13 and its a 6 aside football competition. 8 teams started this competition and now we have our two finalist, sincerely this boys have not disappointed us, they have showcased great skills and excellent display of character to take them far in the football world and every team that took part in this year competition rally gave good account of themselves enthused Wellington Amadasun.
The Semi final matches New Generation piped Temple FC 1 - 0 and Success Academy defeated Young starlets 6 - 5 on penalties after 0 - 0 of duration time. The Final match will now be New Generation FC vs Success Academy and the third place match is between Temple FC vs Young Starlets 1pm on friday.
