Reigning Champions, Rangers Intl. FC Enugu is not leaving anything to chance in its quest to secure maximum victory on Sunday, in the first leg of CAF confederations Cup play offs against ZESCO united FC of Zambia at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu by 4pm.
A press statement by the clubs, Director of Media and Publicity, Foster Chime said Rangers is looking forward to a good outing on Sunday against ZESCO United and will be victorious.

According to the release, Rangers players, technical crew and management has put every machinery in motion towards winning the CAF Confederation Cup first match with good number of goals and making the second leg a week later in Zambia a mere formality.

Rangers Intl. FC Enugu continued build up to Sundays CAF match against ZESCO United by moving into close camping in their Emene hotel on coming back from Calabar and Intensified training at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu under the watchful eyes of coach Imama Amapakabo with success in the mind of the players.
Some of the Rangers players, believe that Playing first at home against ZESCO United will be an added advantage, as it will enable them size up the ZESCO team and capitalize on their weaknesses to overrun before their away encounter, a week later in Zambia.

General Manager/ CEO of Rangers Intl FC, Christian Chukwu, (MFR) is confident that Rangers have quality and experienced players that can deliver on Sunday, adding that the team is aware of the enormous responsibilities to ensure they qualify for the group stage and assured that state government will continue to be very supportive and motivate.
He appealed to Rangers fans and supporters to come out enmass to support the team to victory on Sunday against ZESCO, assuring that the team will soon bounce back to reckoning in the domestic league.
The general manager sued for caution, understanding and patience by fans  and supporters, proffering constructive criticisms in order to move the team forward and back to glorious ways.

Rangers Intl. FC Enugu hosts ZESCO United FC of Zambia in the first leg of a two-legged play off’s of the CAF Confederations Cup competition on Sundays, 9th April, 2017 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu by 4pm.
