Dream Come True....... Micheal Nelson To Play His First Game For Katsina United Against ABS In Ilorin

Though it may tarry but surely it will come to pass one day, this are the chants in the mouth of star player for Elkanemi Warriors last season Micheal Nelson and since his move to Katsina United; he is yet to play a game for the team.

The versatile and Industrious player Micheal Nelson was voted player of the month last season for Elkanemi warriors for the month of February & March and starts all games before his fine run and consistent play was halted by a knee injury. 

The Chairman of the Club, Aminu Balele Kurfi disclosed that we have to delay his inclusion to the starting eleven because we love his style of play " he is a box - to - box midfielder and he never gets tired and he always reminds us of " N'golo Kante of Chelsea" and we believe he needs more time to blend with the style of play of Katsina United.

He has being doing well in training, the coach and medical units have certified him fit for the game against ABS in Ilorin. 

I am very happy to be back with the team and play my first game for the team in an away fixtures, i really appreciate the efforts of the management of Katsina United and their believe in me during all turbulent times and i promise to do my best in my first game and hope we get a victory in Ilorin or at least a point to be able to keep our dream of a continental at the end of the season alive enthused Nelson.

Michael Nelson has been assigned the number 15 jersey by the Club Management.
