The draws for the Nigeria Professional Football league was made yesterday in Enugu and no too much surpises but all focus on the opening day will be in Kano when Kano pillars face FC Ifeanyi Ubah and the Anambra warriors would not want to start the league on loosing note as they end last season loosing to MFM in Lagos that denied them a 3rd place finish, and so far they have not really done well with all their pres-season matches. also the Defending Champion Enugu Rangers will be playing at home to newly reschuffled side Abia warriors, while newly promoted side ABS, REMO STARS and KATSINA UNITED will all be playing at home to Akwa United, Plateau United and Gombe United respectively. This season promises to be entertaining and full of surprises as all teams are battle ready to compete for the prestigious trophy and the league set to kick off January 15, 2017
