Tirana will face Flamurtari, Laci and Bylis in their remaining three league fixtures of the season. Egbo could still even win a double as his side trail seventh-place Bylis 2-1 ahead of the second leg of the Albanian Cup final billed for Wednesday but if they win the tie, they could win that trophy too.

Egbo said: " We still have three games to finish the league and it’s not over yet. We are four points ahead of the team in second position and we need maximum points from two of our remaining games to be champions, that is assuming the team in the second position win all their games.”

" Tirana were in eighth position out of ten teams when I took over in December, they sacked the coaches that started the season, I was the goalkeeper coach then. The players were completely knocked out psychologically and physically when I took over, with my staff, we put them in their ways and we started winning.

Egbo during his playing career played for NITEL Vasco Enugu, NEPA Lagos and Julius Berger in the Nigeria Premier League, also Moroka Swallows in the South African Premier Soccer League, El-Masry in the Egyptian Premier League, and for KF Tirana and Bylis Ballsh in the Albanian Superliga.

Egbo has made several appearances for the Nigeria national football team. He was a member of the Nigeria squad at the 2000 and 2002 African Cup of Nations.
