This Nigeria Football Federation mayhem started back in 2014, certain elements did not want the incumbent Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick with the support of the Sport Minister Solomon Dalung to contest or return to power a second term come September 29, 2018 in Katsina.

Both Ambassador Chris Giwa and Amaju Melvin Pinnick contested their elections under the FIFA Statutes and the FIFA Electoral Code. Not under any Nigerian law, as there is no law in Nigeria providing for elections into the Nigeria Football Federation, Only the NFF/FIFA Statutes/Electoral Code.

"The future of the coaches and players will now hang in the balance as Nigeria football will be in a stand still. The foreign agents or their clients back here in Nigeria can't scout the good players in our domestic league."

Asked if he intends vying for a position in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), "It's something good but opportunity matter. I'll intend giving my best if I get the nod to be in the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) as I have seen it all over the years I have been in this industry.

"I have travelled to over 23 countries in the world, Asia, Europe and Africa. I have seen a lot how football is being run, so for me it would be a call to service if elected."
