Following its painful ouster from the CAF Confederation Cup, the  management board of Wikki Tourists led by its chairman, Alhaji Isa Matori, this morning visited the team at its training ground at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa stadium,ostensibly to feel the pulse of the players, as well as, to boost their dampened morale. 


According to the team's media officer, Abdulahi Nasiru Kobi, the board also passed a vote of confidence in the abilities of coach Baba ganaru and his crew to rejigg the team and take it back to the desired position in the NPFL, having lost its bid for continental honours. 


"The Chairman and his team visited the boys this morning, where he advised them to put saturday's loss behind them. Adding that despite the concerted and valiant efforts of the players, officials, the state government and the fans, the loss was predestined by God, " Kobi said.

" The chairman and his board also expressed confidence in the technical abilities of the technical crew to return the team to its pride of place in Nigerian football, "he added. 
Kobi went on to declare the readiness and determination of the team to put smiles back on the faces of its teeming fans, beginning with the rescheduled home game against 3SC, on Wednesday. 


" The players and officials are set to redeem themselves after the loss to the Sierra-Leonian team by defeating 3SC. I see the team beating 3SC 2-0, " he enthused confidently.
