Cyriel Dessers has to become the new goal getter of KRC Genk. Anderlecht striker Gert Verheyen already thinks he can make a difference in the Luminus Arena. The transfer fee of four million euros is therefore no exaggeration.

It is claimed that the Belgian First Division A side and their Dutch counterparts, Heracles Almelo have reached an agreement for the transfer of the Super Eagles hopeful.

Verheyen believes Dessers has all the qualities needed to be a top striker and has tipped him to make a difference when he eventually completes his transfer to Genk.

" If you buy a particular player for seven million, then i don't think four million is too much. I've watched his goals from last season and he's an all-rounder. Dessers scores with the left, with the right, with the head, also chasing defenders, using his strength, by using his speed, by his technique.

And there are goals where he comes in front of the man on a cross from the flank, but also in which he stays behind the man. He potentially has everything, 'says Verheyen at  Het Nieuwsblad.

Dessers has already proven his qualities. " With the side note that there is by no means a good defense for those goals.

" He makes his brilliant goal against Ajax after Daley Blind lets himself be put aside as a minute. Plus, you also see that he makes all those goals bursting with confidence. "

Dessers has not yet been officially presented as a new addition to KRC Genk. With 15 goals in 26 games, he became the top scorer in the Eredivisie last season.
