It is not clear whether Rohr would lead the team in future as his contract expires in June 2020.

" All the time I return to Nigeria. I spend more time in Nigeria than in Europe,” the ex-Niger boss told veteran football
reporter Colin Udoh.

" I am waiting for the proposals of the NFF which could be very easy.

The former Bayern Munich and Bordeaux defender added: “I don’t want more bonuses, I don’t want more money. I only want to work free.”

Nigeria sit top in Group L of the 2021 Afcon qualifiers with six points, three points more than second place Benin Republic.
