Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has revealed the Super Eagles players he admired most, while growing up as a footballer and has no influence in Iheanacho's move to Leicester City.
Ndidi who joined the Foxes from Genk in the winter of 2015 said he has a mutual relationship with his fellow Nigerian but has no close friend at the club but see all his teammates as one.
" No, I don’t think so. Myself and Kelechi are cool but I never influenced his move to the club, though we have known each other at the u17 and u20 Nigeria National team.”
" I don’t have any best friend at Leicester City, i relate with everyone equally and I have always been cool with Iheanacho, considering the fact that we are from the same country."

However, the Nath Boys Academy graduate said he admired former Super Eagles midfielder, John Obi Mikel as a youngster before joining the squad, " Growing up, I always admired Mikel."
With the global lockdown due to Coronavirus outbreak and no football activities going on, the Nigeria midfielder was chosen to represent his club at the ePremier League game where he was hummilated by Wolverhamton Wanderers, Diogo Jota in the first round by 8-2.
After the defeat, Ndidi accused Jarmie Vardy and goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel for contributing to his downfall in the tournament meant to keep the fans excited because they refuse to let him play FIFA on the coach, " Vardy and Schmeichel will never let me play Fifa on the coach,” Ndidi posted.
Leicester have denied the allegation saying the Nigerian International is searching for an excuse to cover up his flops at the tournament, and he was recently voted Leicester City Most Valuable Player of the Season by the fans.
Since making his debut for the Nigeria national team in 2015, Wilfred Ndidi has appeared 36 times without contributing any goal or assist but his effort in the middle of the park ensured Eagles picked up the bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
