Super Eagles Captain Denies Rumour Of Contracting Coronavirus, when it came to his awareness that certain individuals have decided to post fake news about him and his family members tested positive for Covid 19. ⁣

The AL Nassr of Saudi Arabia forward therefore called on his fans to disregard or ignore the development. This is a pandemic taking peoples lives in thousands so it is sad that some people want to use this to gain followers or views on their pages by spreading falsehood. ⁣

Musa made this known on Instagram and Twitter Wednesday night, and described the report of testing positive for COVID-19 as false and aimed at gaining social media followers.

" We are perfectly okay and have not tested positive to the virus. Please don’t fall for the malicious messages circulating about me or my family.

" We are in good state of health while he has gone into self isolation for 14 days since arriving Nigeria from Saudi-Arabia on a private jet.

The player, who plays as a forward and left winger for the Saudi Arabian team, Al-Nassr, said none of his family members also test positive for COVID-19.

He appealed to Nigerians to co-operate with the Federal Government and all approved agencies in the fight against the pandemic while urging the public to disregard any news insinuating that he or any of his family members are carriers of the lethal virus.
