With young Footballers in England
Coach of Udala FC of Awka, Folabi Ojekunle has promised to make the Nlo side, toast of Nigeria football.

The former Coach of ABS Football Club of Ilorin said his mission is to change the face of the game with his unique style of play and tactical prowess.

" I love coaching and teaching football, i have the material to do that with Udala FC and i also have a great chairman who want to help the to achieve their dreams of playing professionally.

" I must confess to you my chairman Philip Udala is a great man that loves the game and i think with his passion we will change the face of the game in Nigeria’ he said

Folabi ojekunle who believes Nigeria has the talent to rule the world of football also said, " Football is greater than oil only if we plan and utilize the abundant talent we have, if we have over 50 million youth in Nigeria and 30 million youth plays the game of football then we have a gold mine that needs to be properly managed.

The former player of Nigerian Railway Corporation FC and Nitel FC of Lagos, also shares his thought on the vivid difference between coaching in the Nigerian football system at the grassroots level in comparison to European climes.

Saying, " The developmental programs in Europe help to build their players at a tender age why in Africa, every player is a product of talent you don’t need to teach, an African boy already know how to kick the ball but in Europe you teach them everything about playing the game but i really love African talent they want to excel so you just need to push them to achieve your desired goals.

Currently with Udala FC, the defending champion of Anambra Independent Football League who are doing very well to retain the title they won last year.

My next dream is to coach any national team in Nigeria because i believe, i have something to pass on to the young generation of players, having coached for over two decades of my lifetime and with a coaching certificate in NIS in 1996 and later went to UK and coach some youth teams in Northern Ireland among them Aquinas FC in Belfast, i also enjoyed my time with Harry Redknapp during his time with Tottenham Hotspur to get my UEFA B license, the coach was also part of La-Liga/ NPFL Coaching Course recently held in Abuja.

Folabi, believed strongly that Udala FC can win the Anambra FA Cup and also get promoted to the NNL this coming season.
